A Play in a Day!
School Holiday Drama Workshops – For Kids Aged 5–12
These October holidays, join us for one or two days of fun, creativity, and performance magic. Kids will work together to create, rehearse, and star in their very own recorded play – sent to families after the workshop to keep forever. Students are divided into Juniors (K–2) and Seniors (3–6), with a mix of age-specific and combined activities.
All staff are professional, WWCC and Police Checked teachers, passionate about helping children shine on stage.
Dates & Themes
Tuesday 7 October – Magic & Mayhem
Wednesday 8 October – Island Adventure
Time: 9:00am – 3:00pm
Free before and after care: 8:30am – 4:30pm
Location: All Saints Church Hall, Woollahra
Cost: $115 per day (book one or both days)

What Happens on the Day
Students are split into two groups, enjoying a mix of shared activities and sessions tailored to their age.
Juniors (Kindy – Year 2)
Drama games and improvisation
Create and perform your own scene in the end-of-day play
Arts and crafts – make props and set pieces
Build confidence and teamwork in a playful, supportive space
Seniors (Year 3 – Year 6)
Lead roles in our play
Drama games and improvisation to sharpen skills
Learn stagecraft, characterisation, and storytelling
Collaborate to create and perform a brand-new play in one day
Through the day, children will grow as performers while having fun with friends. They’ll develop imagination, quick thinking, and stage presence, while learning how to bring a character to life through voice, movement, and storytelling. Most importantly, they’ll gain the confidence to step into the spotlight and share their creativity in a supportive, encouraging environment.
Extras Included
Arts and crafts stations for set and prop creation
Chill-out corners for downtime between rehearsals
Final performance professionally filmed and sent to families via Vimeo within 1–2 days
